Microsoft Notepad is a simple text editor that lets you create, open and read plaintext files with .txt file extension. But this free online notepad is not only a simple text editor but it also comes with many text formatting options like - text highlighting, insert links and lists, change font and print your document.

How to use this tool?

Using this tool is very easy. Give your document a name and start writing notes or information. You can use the formatting options to format your data. See all formatting options below.

Features of this Tool

There are many features that only we offer. Text formatting and text highlighting are some of them.

• Change Font - We offer you multiple fonts to select from for your document. Click on the downward arrow in the home tab to see the available fonts. Fonts available are - Arial, Noto Sans, SegoeUI, Verdana, Comic Sans MS.
• Text Formatting - Use the formatting options to bold, italic, underline, and strikethrough the text in your notes.
• Highlight Note - Use this option to highlight the selected text. You can click on the dropdown button to change the highlight color. CTRL + H
• Add Lists - Add lists to your notes to make them more understandable. CTRL + L
• Add Link - Insert hyperlink to your document to connect it with another page or document. CTRL + SHIFT + L
• Customize Pad - You can show/hide page lines and margins according to your choice. Go to Edit > Prefrences to change the default preference.
• Export as Images - Export your notes as images (JPG, PNG, BMP).
• Share your Notes - Share your notes on Gmail, Twitter, and other social media sites. Get shareable link to send the ideas/notes to your friends.
